DISTRICT ATTORNEY ONLINE SERVICES FOR TRAFFIC MATTERS

IF YOUR CHARGE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ONLINE DISPOSITION OR CONTINUANCE ACCORDING TO THE RULES BELOW, YOU CANNOT SUBMIT A REQUEST ONLINE AND YOU MUST COME TO COURT ON YOUR COURT DATE.

CHARGES ELIGIBLE FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY ONLINE SERVICES:

1.  Speeding Tickets 85 miles per hour or below

If you are charged with speeding 80 miles per hour or below, the District Attorney will agree to continue your case for up to 90 days from the original court date without requiring your appearance.  This is to allow time for people to hire attorneys and/or save money for court costs and fees.

2.  Compliance Tickets

Compliance citations are tickets you get for something you need to get fixed.  Examples include No Operator's License, Expired Inspection/Registration, Expired Tag, and similar offenses involving your license or vehicle.  If you have come into compliance, you can obtain a dismissal right now by going to AOC ONLINE SERVICES ECAD SITE

3.  Accident Tickets

If you are involved in a motor vehicle accident, you may receive a citation if the investigating officer believes you are at fault.  This category includes any infraction that was written specifically because there was a motor vehicle accident.  Charges include Unsafe Movement infractions, Crossing Double Line, Failure to Yield Right of Way, and other similar offenses.

4.  Seatbelt Tickets

You can pay seatbelt tickets online at AOC ONLINE SERVICES or at the clerk's office in the Judicial Complex at any time before the court date.  We will consent to continue the ticket if you need more time to pay.

IF YOUR CHARGE QUALIFIES:

Please call our office during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  Our staff will inform you if your charge is eligible to be continued or dismissed without a court appearance.  For those eligible, cases will be reset or dismissed as appropriate.  If you are not eligible, you will be informed that your appearance is mandatory.

Please call our main office line at 828-259-3410.
